BOOK 1 FIELD COMPANION

Pages a data center handover must show

Six pages. A missing one refuses its sentence.
Six pages. A missing one refuses its sentence.

Original diagram. Not a site record.

A thick pack is not a complete pack. Sign a sentence only when the page that supports it is in the room. No page, no sentence. Do not demand a long building list the claim never included. Do not accept an empty tab because the title sounds like a code.

These are the gates. The sentence of what was proved, not proved, or proved only for the systems named, with outstanding work on the next page, or an explicit none. A report that hides open items in an appendix is a brochure. The level map: issued, attached from earlier work, refused. Without it, certificates are unread. The file judgment for every heat result they want called proved. A plot is not that judgment. The punch register, printed. An oral "everything is fine" is not a print. For each script, whether it was witnessed or accepted as a document. If you cannot tell those apart, you do not know whether anyone saw the plant. The operator pages: tested, not tested, stops, deviations still in force. A slide deck is not those pages. Calibration, if a number you would quote depends on an instrument.

A sheet dated the morning of the meeting, with no file behind it, is missing until you have read it outside the room. A sheet borrowed from another hall is missing. A stack of daily shift logs is a different meeting. It is not close-out.

You may sign a narrower sentence than the one they printed. You may not sign theirs and hope the missing page arrives as a footnote.
